Breckenridge Ski Resort Opens - Breckenridge Colorado

Tomorrow is the 49th Opening Day at Breckenridge Ski Resort in beautiful Breckenridge Colorado. The BreckConnect Gondola starts carrying eager skiers at 8:30am and five other lifts start running at 9:00am. There is no official snow report yet but officials say Breckenridge Ski Resort has received over there feet of snow in the last two storms and they have been making snow since October 21st.

On opening day there will be 147 acres of open terrain serviced by the Colorado SuperChair, 5 Chair, Rip's Ride, Trygve's Platter, and one conveyor lift. In addition to that there is 117 acres of hike-to-terrain on the Contest and Horseshoe Bowls. Enjoy free parking all weekend at the gondola lots and for the 1st 1,000 skiers and riders you will get to enjoy the free Breckberry French Toast at the new Ski Hill Grill starting at 8:30am.

Breckenridge Ski Resort - 2010/2011 Ski Season in Breckenridge Colorado
